WAE’s mission revolves around mentorship, community, advocacy, outreach, and professional development. The WAE exec team builds goals and events around these pillars.
Mentorship:
Mediate mentorships between under and upperclassmen.
Mediate mentorships between WAE and Graduate sister club, GWAE.
Mediate conversations between WAE and faculty.
ADvocacy:
Act as a voice for members of the group to department administration and staff.
OUTREACH:
Contribute to the Cambridge/Boston community through outreach programs with local schools and clubs.
Professional Development:
Empower members in WAE by providing tools and resources to excel professionally.
Community:
Connect and support the community within MIT’s AeroAstro undergraduate school.
Connect with fellow groups across campus.
Connect with the national chapter of WoAA.
